Key info

Noise limit
105 dB(A) static / 92 dB(A) drive-by — one of the strictest in the UK, and enforced
Elevation notes
Natural amphitheatre with serious gradient. Paddock Hill Bend falls away sharply on exit, and the GP loop drops again through Pilgrims Drop before climbing all the way back from Dingle Dell to Clearways.

Known tricky sections

  • Paddock Hill Bend

Downhill, off-camber and blind on entry. The car goes light exactly where you want to brake — the single most common off in the UK.

  • Druids

Tight uphill hairpin after a climb; easy to overshoot on cold brakes and easy to be hit from behind.

  • Dingle Dell (GP loop)

Fast, bumpy and blind over a crest into a tightening right. Big consequences.

  • Clearways / Clark Curve

Long, patient, ever-tightening right onto the pit straight. Getting greedy here costs the whole lap.

Nearby amenities

  • Fuel

    Circuit fuel bay

102 RON and unleaded at the paddock pumps on most event days.

  • Fuel

    Shell West Kingsdown (A20)

Five minutes from the main gate, open 24h.

  • Food

    Kentagon

Circuit bar and restaurant overlooking Paddock Hill Bend — busy at lunch.

  • Accommodation

    Brands Hatch Place Hotel

Country house hotel a mile from the circuit; books out on race weekends.
